The community of Mullak'as Misminay, located in Maras, Urubamba province, at 3,700 meters above sea level, offers visitors an authentic experience of experiential tourism. The locals, trained in various tourism areas, allow tourists to participate in daily activities, from planting to preparing food with local products, including the famous Maras salt.

The day includes a delicious lunch and the opportunity to exchange knowledge. At the end of the visit, tourists will enjoy a demonstration of the local traditional dance, taking with them a unique and unforgettable experience of Andean culture.

DAY 1: CUSCO – MARAS – MORAY

• 7:00 AM: Pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

  • Route to Maras:

  • Enjoy the landscape of the Sacred Valley.

  • Stop at the Raqchi viewpoint to admire the snow-capped peaks of Chicón, Salkantay, and Verónica.

• Maras and Salt Pans:

  • Visit the town of Maras.

  • Observe the Salt Pans with their 3,000 salt pools.

• Moray and the Community of Misminay:

  • Explore the circular terraces of Moray.

  • Arrival in Misminay and welcome with music and dance.

  • Traditional lunch in the community. 

• Wañinmarca Viewpoint:

  • Ascent to the Wañinmarca mountain viewpoint.

  • Panoramic views of Moray and the Sacred Valley.

• Evening:

  • Family dinner with bonfire and traditional stories.

DAY 2: AGRICULTURE – TEXTILE WEAVING – CUSCO

• Morning:

  • Breakfast with local Andean products.

  • Participation in agricultural activities and offering to Pachamama and Apus.

• Crafts and Lunch:

  • Lessons on textile weaving with ancestral techniques.

  • Collaboration in the preparation of pachamanca, an Andean dish.

  • Lunch with local products. 

• Farewell and Return:

  • Participation in daily community activities.

  • Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

• Return to Hotel: Transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
