The Potato Park, located in the Cusco region of the Peruvian Andes, is an outstanding conservation initiative with a holistic approach. Its primary goal is to conserve the rich biodiversity of native potato varieties while promoting and preserving traditional knowledge related to agriculture, nutrition and health.
- The project involves the active participation of several indigenous communities, including Amaru, Chawaytire, Paru Paru, Kuyo Grande, Pampallaqta and Sacaca. These communities have assumed an essential role in the management and protection of genetic resources associated with native potatoes.
- The direct involvement of local people underscores the community's commitment to the conservation of genetic diversity, a critical component in ensuring long-term sustainability.

- Visit to the Kinsa Qocha, Puma Cocha and Azul Qocha lakes.
- Visit to the seed bank and interpretation center of the Potato Park.
